Just like the first time we had a wonderful time. My mom and I have done our 2nd fall Alpine getaway at this hotel. Although the hotel does have a small common room at the bar which does serve this purpose - I still missed a somewhat larger and. The wellness area is nice and the pool is of a fair size ( a real enjoyment if it would not be for some parents allowing their kids to have diving contests when others are swimming – certainly not the fault of the hotel). We were also allowed to take our nice and wonderfully behaving dog which is a +++ for the hotel. It was actually so nice that we didn’t see a point in upgrading. Not to mention that it was spotless clean. The room has probably not been refurbished in years but it has been so tastefully and nicely decorated that one feels comfortable and homey. In terms of lodging – we had the basic double room. Their breakfast buffet is also excellent. Every single course is sculpted and presented so beautifully that the dishes are not only a joy to eat but also to look at. The 5-6 course dinner menu is a real delight every evening. Having visited several 4* hotels in the Alps in terms of food this hotel is certainly superior to them all. We especially liked the superb dinners and breakfasts at this hotel.
